An Original Vintage Theatrical Deluxe 10 3/4" x 13 3/4" [27 x 35 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) The Battle of Waterloo, the 1913 Charles Weston English silent war melodrama starring Ernest G. Batley (as Napoleon Bonaparte), George Foley, and Vivina Ross. Note that this was an important very early English silent movie. It was reportedly over an hour in length, which would surely make it one of the very first (if not the first) English feature films, predating the U.S.'s "The Birth of a Nation" by two years! It is essentially a lost film, with only a few fragments surviving, but because those are battle scenes, it shows how ambitious the movie was with hundreds of actors and horses, some of which died during the battle scenes. Important Added Info: Note that this still measures 10 3/4" x 13 3/4" [27 x 35 cm], but it has not been trimmed. Also note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock. Condition: very good to fine. There are some faint creases scattered in the still and some minor wear in the borders. Learn More about condition grades
