An Original Vintage Theatrical German Movie Lobby Card #11 (LC; measures 9 1/4" x 12" [23 x 30 cm]) (Learn More)

Westfront 1918 (also released as "Comrades of 1918"), the 1930 G.W. Pabst (Georg Wilhelm Pabst) German World War I (WWI) military anti-war melodrama (very similar to the classic "All Quiet on the Western Front" made the same year, and since this is a German movie, the movie focuses on German soldiers at the front in the closing days of the war, and the movie shows the futility of war just as well as the American movie) starring Fritz Kampers, Gustav Diessl, Jackie Monnier, Hanna Hoessrich, and Hans-Joachim Moebis. It is interesting that this movie was made in Germany in 1930, because just a few short years later, when Hitler seized power, there is no way that this movie could have been released there.

Important Added Info: Note that ANY first release German movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned four German programs from this movie (and NO other first release German movie paper of any kind) until we received this German lobby card, which is a "country of origin" still for this German movie!

Condition: good to very good. There is paper loss in the bottom left blank corner and a pinhole in each right corner and in the center of the top and bottom borders. There is a small tear in the upper left border and some creases and smudges around the edges. There are some faint smudges and scuffs scattered in the image.
