An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Half-Sheet Movie Poster (1/2sh; measures 22" x 28" [56 x 71 cm]) (Learn More) Her Greatest Love, the 1917 J. Gordon Edwards silent romantic love triangle melodrama ("Founded on Ouida's Moths"; a wild story about an English young lady who has been raised at a strict boarding school, and she goes home to find her mother is living unmarried with an English Lord; she is shocked, and she meets and falls in love with an opera singer, but her mother arranges a marriage for her to a Russian Prince, and she is forced to go along; but when she goes to live with her husband, she finds he has a mistress living in the same house, and she protests, which causes the Prince to banish her to a monastery; but the Prince has second thoughts, and he goes to find his wife, and at the same time, the Lord her mother is living with shows up as well, as does her lover, the opera singer; there is a major argument between the three men, and then a duel, in which the Prince and the Lord are killed, letting the girl marry the opera singer, whom she truly loves!) starring Theda Bara, Marie Curtis, Walter Law, Glen White, and Harry Hilliard NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster has never been folded! Some pre-1970 half-sheet posters were folded twice horizontally at the poster exchange, while some were not. It can be difficult to find an unfolded example of many pre-1970 half-sheet posters (note that most post-1970 half-sheets were NOT folded, so they are pretty much only found unfolded, and therefore this does not apply to those half-sheets). Condition: very good to fine. The poster was never folded. It is not at all fragile or brittle, something that is very unusual in a poster of this age (it is nearly 100 years old). It has creases and slight darkening in the edges of the blank borders and a 1" tear in the right of the bottom border, which was repaired with clear tape from the back, but otherwise, it is in surprisingly nice condition!
