Important Added Info: Note that this poster has no text in the top blank area. We previously auctioned another example of it that had information for Marvelo the Magician and his performances overprinted in that area. It is definitely possible that this poster was created for Marvelo the Magician, but it is also quite possible that it is just a "stock" magic poster that magicians could buy and have overprinted with their information, and it could be that this is what Marvelo did, so the image may not be related to him. Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good to fine. The poster was never folded. It had some faint smudges in the right of the top border. Overall, the poster was in very good to fine condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above. Learn More about condition grades
