Note that Marilyn Monroe was given the lead in this movie, but she was not yet a major star. Her performance in this film, and the iconic gigantic image of her laying atop the famous waterfall with the water running over her body helped her career massively! Often window cards would be folded across the middle, because that would make them 11" x 14", and they could then be sent with standard folded posters. Most collectors put an added value on a window card that has never been folded. Condition: very good. The poster was "starch backed", which means that it was moistened with a special starch solution, attached to a backing, allowed to dry, and then the poster had touch up while it was backed, and afterward, the backing was removed. This particular poster had pinholes, small tears, and smudges around the edges, with a few within the image. The poster displays quite nicely, and it has had truly minor touch up, and best of all, it still completely looks and feels like an unrestored poster! Learn More about condition grades
