She was a major silent star and is probably best remembered for being billed above Rudolph Valentino in 1920's "The Sheik"! She had great success and retired in 1927, but sadly, she lost her fortune in the 1929 Stock Market Crash, and had unfortunate marriages as well. She tried to resume her career in talking movies with very limited success. She retired again in 1937 and started a real estate business, but sadly, she passed away in 1940 at the age of 42, from a cerebral hemorrhage. Condition: very good. Learn More about condition grades
