Artist: Georges Mathieu Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned one example of this French poster, and that poster has now been reconsigned to us, so it is still the only example we have ever auctioned (and the new owner had it linenbacked). What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster was never folded. It had tape stains in the corners and in the center of the top and bottom borders, with creases, smudges, and small tears around the edges and some creases and scuffs scattered in the dark and light blue areas. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can clearly see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
