An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Australian One-sheet Movie Poster (measures approximately 27" x 40") (Learn More) Whipsaw, the 1935 Sam Wood romantic jewel thief crime melodrama ("The girl you've been waiting for!"; with cinematography by James Wong Howe; about a trio of jewel thieves, one of whom is the beautiful Myrna Loy; Spencer Tracy is an undercover cop who joins the gang, and Loy falls in love with him, but he still arrests her when he arrests the other gang members!) starring Myrna Loy ("The girl you've been waiting for!"), Spencer Tracy, Harvey Stephens, William Harrigan, and John Qualen NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster has significant paper loss in the top right corner, and is significantly stained throughout. Of course, a talented restorer could certainly rescue this great poster! Also note that this is one of a group of five Australian one-sheets, five U.S. one-sheets, and ten Australian "long" daybills, that were found under a floor in a house in Australia! All of the posters have significant damage, but of course, all of these rare posters could be restored by a talented restorer. Please look VERY closely at our "super sized" images of these twenty posters BEFORE you place a bid on any of them!
