However, you can buy the auction catalog it appears in using the "Order" button above. An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Clarence E. Mulford's Texas Trail, the 1937 David Selman cowboy western (based on characters created by Clarence E. Mulford) starring William Boyd (as Hopalong Cassidy), George 'Gabby' Hayes, Russell Hayden, Judith Allen, Alexander Cross, Robert Kortman, and Billy King NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. The poster had a V-shaped tear in the left of the top foldline (mostly in the blue background but extending into the "E" of "TEXAS"). There were some tears and tiny paper loss in the vertical foldline in the center of the "A" of "TEXAS". There were some extra creases down the vertical foldline and across the bottom foldline. There was small paper loss in the blue background above the "S" of "TEXAS". There were creases, tears, and small areas of paper loss in the borders, and the person who did the restoration put new blank white paper over all the borders to even out the appearance (but the small writing at the bottom of the poster was not covered over). This is a common technique used by several top restorers. It is done so well that the majority of collectors are not even aware it has been done, and many do not feel it to be a significant detraction (since it is only blank white area). Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well. Learn More about condition grades
