An Autographed 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Music Publicity Still (Learn More) Johnnie Davis (almost always billed as "Johnnie 'Scat' Davis") was an actor, singer, and trumpeter from the 1930s to the 1940s. Some of his movies include: Varsity Show, Mr. Chump, Brother Rat, and Knickerbocker Holiday. He passed away in 1983 at the age of 73. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Johnnie Davis! Note that this still is from the collection of Robert J. Fieth. He was born in 1923, and as a teenager, he began writing to celebrities in the 1940s, and continued to do so over several decades, acquiring a collection of over 500 autographed photos (many of which are personalized to him, either as "To Robert J. Fieth", or "To Robert", or "To Bob"). We have been consigned a number of signed photos from this collection, the majority of which were obtained in the 1940s or 1950s! Condition: good to very good.
