Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Style A Three-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 41" x 81") (Learn More)

Alias the Champ, the 1949 George Blair Republic wrestling sports melodrama ("Wait'll you see Gorgeous George, World's most colorful wrestling attraction"; "Written by Albert Demond") starring Robert Rockwell, Barbra Fuller, Audrey Long, Gorgeous George (the real-life wrestler, billed as "introducing Gorgeous George"), and Tor Johnson. Note that in 1949, Gorgeous George toured the country with the first interracial foursome in wrestling history, which included Baron Leone, Chief Little Wolf, and Woody Strode (George's best friend on the circuit).

Condition: very good to fine. minor separation and tiny paper loss at the upper right crossfold in the woman's hair as well as some tiny tears in the vertical foldline just below that crossfold; minor separation at some of the other crossfolds; minor creases and smudges along the foldlines and around the edges of the poster; areas of darkening along the foldlines (mostly only noticeable in white border areas)
