eMoviePoster.comAuction History Result BOSS OF LONELY VALLEY 6sh Appears in Hershenson Pressbook CollectionThe image at right is provided for reference purposes and we do not we have it available for purchase, nor do we know of anyone who does! Boss of Lonely Valley, the 1937 Ray Taylor cowboy western ("G-Man and cowpuncher side by side - herding crooks in a prairie clean-up!"; "He made TOUGH forgers gunshot SHY!"; "When forgers horned in - he bulldogged them out!"; "He threw a fence of hot lead around the girl and the range-land he loved!"; "Riding thunder on steel hoofs - cowboy and G-man in a stampede against crooked forgers!") starring Buck Jones, Muriel Evans, Walter Miller, Richard Holland, Harvey Clark, Lee Phelps, and Matty Fain. Note that Buck Jones' white horse was named Silver (just like The Lone Ranger's later on!), and Silver made 73 movies with Buck Jones from 1922 until Jones' death in 1942 in the tragic Cocoanut Grove fire. But oddly, Silver was almost never billed on the posters for Buck Jones' movies as so many other famous horses (most especially Tom Mix's Tony) were! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
