An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Eddie Cantor (born Isidore Itzkowitz) was a comic actor and singer from the 1920s to the 1950s. He performed a little later than Al Jolson, but there were similarities between the two men, and Cantor had very large expressive eyes and was nicknamed "Old Banjo Eyes". He had a very successful radio show in the 1930s. Some of his movies include: Thank Your Lucky Stars, Hollywood Canteen, and Whoopee! There was a movie biography of his life called "The Eddie Cantor Story". He passed away in 1964 at the age of 72. Condition: good. The still has unevenly darkened in the left half. There is faint red staining in the center of the left of the image. There are faint smudges around the edges of the still. Learn More about condition grades
