An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More)

Hypnotized, the 1932 Mack Sennett circus romantic love triangle screwball comedy ("Mack Sennett's greatest and funniest comedy feature"; "In 8 Reels"; a really wacky story of a circus performer in love with a rich gypsy woman, but then he wins a sweepstakes, and if he can collect the prize, he can probably win the girl, but there are all sorts of obstacles in his way) starring George Moran, Charles Mack ("Moran and Mack The Two Black Crows"), Ernest Torrence, Wallace Ford, Maria Alba, Charles Murray, and Marjorie Beebe. Note that George Moran and Charles Mack were a vaudeville comedy team who appeared together in blackface under the billing of "The Two Black Crows" and as "Moran and Mack". They made six movies together between 1927 and 1933. Charles Mack died in a road accident in the beginning of 1934, and Moran only appeared in minor roles in four more movies, two of them for W.C. Fields. If anyone knows more about this comedy team, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Condition: very good. There is paper loss at the top crossfold (in the red background area), and separation and tiny paper loss at the middle crossfold and separation at the bottom crossfold. There is 1 1/2" of separation at the right end of the top foldline and there are tiny tears in the right half of the top foldline. There are tiny tears, pinholes, smudges, creases, and tiny paper loss around the edges of the poster. There are five pinholes scattered near the center of the image, but none of them are noticeable or in important areas. There are some very tiny brown dot water stains in the top center of the poster (in the top credits area), but they are truly mostly only noticeable from the front of the poster and not from the back. The poster is in better condition than the above makes it sound! Its defects are basically minor (a lot are in the blank borders) and the sort that are easily addressed during linenbacking. After linenbacking by a top professional, the poster would look great, and there would be little paint restoration anywhere on the poster.
