An Original Vintage Promotional Booklet (measures 9 1/4" x 12 1/4" [23 x 31 cm]; 12 pages) (Learn More) United Artists Manpower, the 1936 promotional booklet published by United Artists to promote the stars and movies they had upcoming in 1936. There are two pages devoted to the producers (including Charles Chaplin and Walt Disney, who are pictured), two pages to the directors, to pages to the authors, and two pages to the stars, including Mickey Mouse, who is pictured. The back cover lists upcoming movies, including one of the most legendary movies that was never made, "I, Claudius", which was intended to star Charles Laughton and Merle Oberon (portions of the movie were filmed, and a documentary about this unfinished movie was made decades later!). NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have never auctioned this cool promotional booklet before! Condition: good to very good. There are stains in the right 2" and bottom 2" of the back cover, and some tiny paper loss in the bottom border of the back cover, and in the bottom of the right border of the back cover.
