We have seen newspaper advertisements from throughout 1973 using almost the same exact image and taglines as this poster, so it is likely a 1973 re-release (likely designed to cash in off the success of "Superfly" which was released in 1972). It is 27" x 41" and printed on a slightly different paper than regular movie posters, but we are certain it was designed for theatrical use. We have only auctioned this poster twice (and both times were in 2012)! Condition: very good to fine. The poster was never folded.
