Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned one example of this one-sheet, and that was 34 years ago, when it sold for $990. THIS example has had trimming in the blank borders (reducing the size from 27" x 41" to 25 3/4" x 39 1/2"), but only blank white paper was affected. What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had parts of each border trimmed, but only blank white paper was affected (see above). It also had a few tiny bits of paper loss on small parts of some folds and a pinhole near the center of the left and right blank borders. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, but the restorer did not attempt to replace the missing portions of the blank borders.
