Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had small paper loss at the crossfolds and some tiny bits of paper loss in the top half of the vertical foldline, and in the bottom horizontal fold. There was paper loss at the right end of the middle foldline and some paper loss around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above, but fortunately, a large percentage of the paper loss is in blank white areas (see our image).
