Some of her movies include: Carmen Jones (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), Island in the Sun, and Porgy and Bess. She was the subject of a 1999 HBO biography called "Introducing Dorothy Dandridge" starring Halle Berry AND Carol Mathews was an actress from the 1930s to the 1970s. Some of her movies include: Showdown at Boot Hill, Swamp Women, and Outlaws of the Rockies Important Added Info: This page has been personally autographed (signed) by BOTH Dorothy Dandridge AND Carole Matthews (each signed on a different side of the page, as shown in our images). Our consignor purchased this autograph from one of the auctions of Gene Andrewski's collection. The album page could be matted with a vintage or repro still and framed together to make a cool display! Condition: very good.
