The Green Lama is a comic superhero created by author Kendell Foster Crossen. The character first appeared in a 1940 pulp magazine before branching out to comic books. He is commonly portrayed as a powerful Buddhist Lama, dressing in green robes with a red scarf and using his powerful skill set to fight crime. Unlike many contemporary characters from smaller publishers, the Green Lama character is not in the public domain, as the author retained all rights to his creation.

Please note that we don't use a "comic guide" grading system, and OUR grading scale is completely different from standard comic book grading. Our "very good" is completely different from a comic book graded "very good". Note that in the case of this comic, we pictured all of the pages, because it is of greater interest to collectors, and we want them to be able to see every single page of the comic, which should allow all bidders to get a sense of the exact condition of this comic book.

Note: We have 19 images of this comic book, but due to a space limitation, only TEN of the 19 images are displayed above. However, there is a "supersize" link to the right of those images that lets you see the other 9.

This is one of an excellent collection of 138 vintage comic books we were consigned, which we are auctioning in 138 separate auctions. NONE of these comics have any restoration (unless noted in our condition description) and all of them came from a small group of collectors who purchased them mostly when they were first published, and none have been "slabbed" or "graded"! And EVERY one of these 138 comics (including some really excellent ones) start at $1 with truly no reserve. This is the kind of buying opportunity every comic book collector dreams of, and when these auctions close on January 16, every one of these comics will have a new owner!

Condition: good to very good. Note that this comic book will be sent to the winning bidder in a brand new Mylite4 protective sleeve and a full-back 100% acid-free backing board.
