De Sylva"; "Music and Lyrics by Irving Berlin"; "From a story by B.G. De Sylva"; about a naive man who is picked by corrupt Louisiana politicians to take the fall for crimes they've committed) starring Bob Hope, Vera Zorina, Victor Moore, Irene Bordoni, Dona Drake, Raymond Walburn, and "Those Louisiana Lovelies - The Cream of the Crop!" (referred to as "The 13 Louisiana Belles" in other publicity). Note that Paramount was afraid of lawsuits from real life Louisiana politicians, so they made significant changes from the Broadway play the movie was based on, and they even had many references in the movie to the fact that the "Louisiana" referred to was a mythical place, and not the actual Louisiana!
