An Original Vintage Theatrical Tri-Folded Style B One-Sheet Movie Poster (27" x 41") (Learn More) Mel Brooks' The Producers, the classic 1967 Mel Brooks New York City Broadway stage theater acting con man musical black comedy ("Possibly the funniest film in the last 25 years"; "Hollywood Never Faced A Zanier Zero Hour!"; "written...by Mel Brooks"; about two losers who plan to over-sell shares in a Broadway flop and then pocket the profits) starring Zero Mostel (as Max Bialystock), Gene Wilder (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film; as Leo Bloom), Dick Shawn ("as L.S.D."), Estelle Winwood (as the "Hold me, Touch me" old lady), Christopher Hewett (as Roger De Bris), Kenneth Mars (as Franz Liebkind), Lee Meredith (as Ulla), Andreas Voutsinas (as Carmen Ghia), and Renee Taylor (as Eva Braun) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is the rarely seen style B one-sheet for this classic comedy! Also note that this poster was tri-folded only (which means there is no vertical foldline) but because it would be more expensive to send flat, it will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: very good to fine. a slightly diagonal crease across the top 2 1/2" of the top blank border; poster has darkened slightly along the foldlines; 7" of separation in the right of the middle horizontal fold (repaired with tape from the back); minor creases, smudges, and scuffs throughout the poster (more so along the foldlines); several 1 1/2" and smaller tears around the edges of the poster. The poster is in better condition than the above makes it sound! The defects are basically minor. A simple linenbacking would make these minor defects vanish and the poster would look "perfect"! I could also imagine many collectors displaying the poster just as it is, given that its defects are not distracting, and it has no vertical foldline! Learn More about condition grades
