Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair to good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the bottom two crossfolds, with some creases and tiny tears on small parts of some folds. It had pinholes, small tears, and a few stains around the edges, with a few pinholes scattered in the image. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above. After the poster was backed, it was displayed, and the reds in the poster faded unevenly. It is not that noticeable unless you compare it to an unfaded example, but bear all of the above in mind before bidding.
