Van Dyke ("The Hit-Director of 'After the Thin Man' 'San Francisco' and others") romantic comedy ("At last they're together - and how!"; "Just because he's her handsome butler can she call him her 'Personal Property'"; "They're sweethearts now! And what thrills!"; about a broke American widow living in London, and a son of a formerly wealthy family is assigned to watch over her so that she can keep her house, and his brother meets her and begins romancing her, and each thinks the other is rich and the solution to their problems, but of course, she eventually falls for the handsome man who knows she is broke!) starring Jean Harlow, Robert Taylor ("in a happy huddle for the first time!"), Reginald Owen, Una O'Connor, Henrietta Crosman, E.E. Clive, Lionel Braham, and Marla Shelton. Note that this was a re-make of the 1931 film The Man in Possession, with Robert Montgomery and Charlotte Greenwood. The poster was folded in each direction, with creases, scuffs, and some fine surface paper loss on those folds. There were some pinholes, faint stains, and tears around the edges. A talented restorer gel backed the poster (meaning they backed the poster onto a gel material) and they then performed excellent restoration to the above defects, and then removed the gel backing, so that the poster still exactly looks and feels like an original poster (and it is!), with no backing at all.
