Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had paper loss in the top right corner and many creases, smudges, tears, stains, and areas of paper loss around the edges of the poster, and creases and smudges throughout. There was a 10" tear in the top center of the poster. Overall, the poster was in fair to good condition prior to linenbacking. Given the poster's many defects, the restorer did a pretty good job, but you can clearly see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
