The poster had a series of tears and small areas of paper loss scattered down the vertical foldline, including some in the left side of Rogers' face. There were a lesser number of tears and tiny areas of paper loss in the horizontal folds. There were tears and areas of paper loss around the edges of the poster and some smudges and stains in the white background areas. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, and it displays pretty nicely, but you can see the slightest signs of the restoration of the above defects. Learn More about condition grades
