An Original Vintage 8 1/4" x 10" (8x10) Music Publicity Still (Learn More) James Brown (nicknamed "The Godfather of Soul") was a legendary rock 'n' roll (rock and roll) singer and songwriter from the 1940s to the 2000s. He is the originator of funk music and in 1986 he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and in 2000 into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Some of his works include: Papa's Got a Brand New Bag, It's a Man's Man's Man's World, and I Got You (I Feel Good). He passed away in 2006 at the age of 73. Important Added Info: Note that Brown is billed as "James (Please, Please, Please) Brown", which makes it extremely likely this still is from 1956, when the song was first released! Condition: fine.
