'with a story to match the brilliance of its stars!' An experience you'll Never forget!"; "A story as thrilling as its stars!") starring Charles Boyer, Rita Hayworth, Ginger Rogers, Henry Fonda, Charles Laughton, Edward G. Robinson, Paul Robeson (in his final film), Ethel Waters, Eddie 'Rochester' Anderson, "plus 46 featured players" including Thomas Mitchell, Eugene Pallette, Cesar Romero, Gail Patrick, Roland Young, Elsa Lanchester, George Sanders, George Reed, James Gleason, and the Hall Johnson Choir. Note that W.C. Fields starred in a chapter from this compilation film, but it was cut before the movie was released. As far as we know, Fields is not credited or shown on any movie paper for this film. The cut chapter was restored in a 1996 video re-release NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this still is from a special set of "color glos" stills, which means it was printed on a photo type of paper and have a glossier front, with more vivid colors. This is something the studios experimented with in the late 1930s and early 1940s, for both 8x10 stills and 11x14 stills. Note that this still measures 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm]. Condition: good to very good. There is a tiny number overprinted in the bottom left corner and a stiff piece of paper glued to the back of the bottom, but it has no effect on the front (see our image).
