An Original Vintage Theatrical Window Card Movie Poster (measures 14" x 22") (Learn More) Son of Paleface, the 1952 Frank Tashlin cowboy western crime screwball comedy sequel ("Written by Robert L. Welch and Joseph Quillan"; about an eastern dude who goes west to claim his father's gold, but the gold is missing, and there is a beautiful head of a gang of thieves who robbed it, and there is a righteous sheriff played by Roy Rogers) starring Bob Hope, Jane Russell, Roy Rogers, Trigger (Roy Rogers' horse), Bill Williams, and Lloyd Corrigan. Note that this was sort of a sequel to 1948's "The Paleface". That movie, starring Bob Hope and Jane Russell, but not Roy Rogers, had been written by Frank Tashlin, and he was unhappy with the result. So he wrote this movie, which stars the "son" of the star of the first movie (again played by Hope), but this time, Tashlin was able to direct it himself, and one presumes he was much happier with the result!
