Bensdorp is a Swiss chocolate company which was founded in 1840 by Gerardus Bernardus Bensdorp. At the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th century branches were established in Germany and Austria. Bensdorp remains popular to this day but is currently owned by the Unilever Corporation

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had minor fold and border wear. It had a 2" diagonal line under the girl's eye that may be part of the printing or may be a scuff mark. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above.
