Note that after this tragic incident, the U.S. Armed Forces changed their rules so that brothers could not serve together at a single location, to make it incredibly unlikely that something like this could happen again. The movie was pulled from theaters quickly after it was made. 20th Century-Fox, which had produced the movie, tried to recoup some of the expenses by selling the rights to it after World War II ended, and it was re-released by Realart during the Korean War (with a new title, "The Fighting Sullivans"), but it did not do well. It is periodically shown on television, and it is REALLY hard to watch, especially if you know what happened before you watch it. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Many posters at that time were printed on the back of other posters, or sections of other posters. This particular poster was printed on the back of a small section of a billboard poster, which had red lettering on it, so there is red lettering is on the back of this poster. Condition: fair to good. The poster was printed on the back of another poster , and there is some bleed through from that poster on the back.
