An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Violent is the Word for Curly, the 1938 Charley Chase (primarily remembered as a great silent comedian who appeared in 276 movies, most of them comedy shorts, Chase also directed 140 comedy shorts) mistaken identity college slapstick comedy short ("They're cracked in the cranium... on a cuckoo campus!"; about three gas station attendants who are mistaken for college professors, with predictably zany results) starring The Three Stooges (Curly Howard, Larry Fine, Moe Howard), Eddie Fetherston, Marjorie Deanne, and Gladys Gale NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned two one-sheets (one 28 years ago and one 31 years ago; the last one sold for $9,775!) from this movie, and NO other movie paper, until we received this still!
