The poster had tiny paper loss at some crossfolds, with some creases and tiny bits of paper loss on parts of some folds. It had many small tears and many small areas of paper loss across the bottom horizontal fold. It had tack holes, some small tears, and some small paper loss in the borders. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above. One could display and enjoy the poster as it is, or certainly, additional restoration could be performed, with or without re-backing the poster. Learn More about condition grades
