An Original Vintage Theatrical 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Don Ameche was an actor from the 1930s to the 1990s. Some of his movies include: Midnight, Heaven Can Wait, and Alexander's Ragtime Band. He is perhaps best remembered for his starring role as the inventor of the telephone in The Story of Alexander Graham Bell. He had notable "comeback" performances in Trading Places, appearing with Ralph Bellamy, Things Change, and Cocoon (winner of the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), appearing with Hume Cronyn and Jessica Tandy. He passed away in 1993 at the age of 85. Important Added Info: Note that this still is undated, but it was created in the late 1930s or early 1940s to promote a then current movie. This still shows his baseball team when he was at a seminary at 12 years of age, and he is at lower left! Also note that this still measures 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm]. Condition: good to very good.
