An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Daisy Kenyon, the 1947 Otto Preminger New York City romantic love triangle melodrama ("These Three Together... in a love only two can share!"; "20th Century Fox triumph!"; "Based on the Novel by Elizabeth Janeway"; about a female commercial artist who is having an affair with a married lawyer; she meets a World War II veteran who loves her, and she doesn't return his love, but she is getting older and feels her married lover will never leave his wife, so she marries the veteran, but then her married lover gets a divorce!) starring Joan Crawford (in the title role as Daisy Kenyon), Dana Andrews, Henry Fonda, Ruth Warrick, Martha Stewart, Peggy Ann Garner, Connie Marshall, Nicholas Joy, and Art Baker NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. The poster had a penny-sized area of paper loss at the top crossfold and a 4" vertical tear in the right of Crawford's hair and forehead. There were creases, tiny tears, and some tiny areas of paper loss down the vertical foldline. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was fairly well backed, but it required a fair amount of restoration in Crawford's forehead and in the top of the vertical foldline, and the restoration to that area is noticeable.
