Also note that there are two variations of this quad. They have the same image, but one has a line of small type with NSS information, and the other one lacks that, but has a circular logo at bottom left from the "Advisory Viewing Committee". The second type is more rare than the first type, and we have no idea if one predates the other. This auction is for the one with the Advisory Viewing Committee logo. What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had pinholes in the corners and minor fold and border wear. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well! After the poster was backed, it was slightly roughly handled, and there are now creases in the bottom of the excess linen in the left 8", but it is solely in the excess linen and does not affect the poster.
