Artist: Drew Struzan Important Added Info: Note that this poster has been personally autographed (signed) by George Lucas! Our consignor owned a diner from 1975 to around 2000 in Fairfax, California, called "Koffee Klatch" that was on the way to Skywalker Ranch. When he would work at Skywalker Ranch, George Lucas would have breakfast at the diner most weekday mornings, and he also came in on the weekends with his children. Our consignor's sister did much upholstery work for Mr. Lucas over those years, and at Christmas of 1999, she asked Mr. Lucas to sign this poster for her sister (and personalize it to her) as a Christmas gift, which he did, and she gave it to our consignor. Our consignor does not have a certificate of authenticity, but given the above story, we think it is extremely likely Mr. Lucas signed it himself. Also note that this poster is the single-sided fan club teaser version (this poster was issued with a watermark on the back) and was not meant for use in theaters! In some cases the watermark is VERY difficult to see (mostly only at an angle) and in some cases it is either very noticeable or it partially is noticeable, but we have used a blacklight on several different examples and the watermark is then quite clear in every example! As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes. Condition: good to very good. Learn More about condition grades
