If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that we have never auctioned this poster before. Sometimes record producers would create posters that would be given away free with a corresponding album, but this is definitely NOT the case with this poster. We know that because the poster was never folded, so of course, it could not have been put into an album! It was surely sent to music stores to display on their walls, to try to get customers to buy the soundtrack. We don't know how many stores received the posters, but surely most of them simply taped them to the wall and destroyed them after use, which would explain why this is so very rare!
UPDATED 04/30/2018: Note that our consignor tells us that he purchased this poster in 1980 at Collector's Book Store in Hollywood, and that the owner of the store told him that this poster had been rejected by the major record store chains because of the gesture made by the cast (a similar problem occurred when Mad Magazine had Alfred E. Neuman making the same gesture!). As a result, most of these posters were destroyed, and that would explain why it is incredibly rare! Condition: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It has many light creases scattered throughout. It has some tiny creases and a few tiny tears in the left and right borders. Learn More about condition grades
