Hugh Herbert and I.A.L. Diamond"; "Based on a story by Mortimer Braus"; about a middle-aged couple with adult children, where the wife wants to get divorced from her gambling husband, and he tries to win her back, and it is complicated by the re-emergence of her old flame, who is now rich) starring Claudette Colbert, Macdonald Carey, Zachary Scott, Barbara Bates, Marilyn Monroe, Robert Wagner (in his third credited movie role!), and Frank Candy. Note that after Marilyn Monroe's great success at the start of the 1950s, 20th Century-Fox, who had her under contract, wisely found small parts for her in lots of their movies in 1951 and 1952! The poster had two extra horizontal folds with creases and scuffs on all the folds. It had some tears around the edges and pinholes in the corners. It had a few creases, scuffs, and smudges scattered throughout (see our image). Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above. Learn More about condition grades
