An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Window Card Movie Poster (WC; measures 12 1/2" x 22" [32 x 56 cm]) (Learn More)

A Tailor Made Man, the 1931 Sam Wood rags-to-riches mistaken identity comedy (based on the play by Harry James Smith; about a poor man who works in a tailor shop and he "borrows" expensive clothes and wears them to a fancy party, which gets him noticed by a rich man who gives him a great job, and the attentions of a beautiful rich woman, but he has a girlfriend back at the tailor shop) starring William Haines, Dorothy Jordan, Joseph Cawthorn, Majorie Rambeau, and William Austin. Note that this play had been previously filmed in 1922 starring Charles Ray.

Artist: John Held Jr.
Important Added Info: Note that this poster comes from a collection that was consigned to us of window cards, inserts, and half-sheets, ALL of which are in MUCH lesser condition (as is immediately evident from looking at the images of these posters). But many of these posters are from early 1930s titles where it is next-to-impossible to find a better condition example of these posters! Obviously, the cost of restoration of these posters will vary greatly depending on the extent of the defects, so please carefully study our super-sized image of each item BEFORE you place a bid. Also, know that normally we allow returns of any item, but because all of these items are in MUCH lesser condition, we will NOT accept returns of this item, so bear that in mind as well before placing a bid.

Condition: poor. There is major paper loss down the right border and some other areas of paper loss as well.
