She was a "sex kitten", and was as popular in France as Marilyn Monroe was in the U.S.! She is best known for her roles in And God Created Woman, Le Mepris, Masculin Feminin: 15 Faits Precis, La Verite, and Viva Maria! In the 1970s, she retired and has not made a movie since, but she is very active in animal rights causes and charities. As of 2024, she is still alive at the age of 88! Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Brigitte Bardot! Note that our consignor purchased a collection of autographed stills that were collected by Leonard Sorgi, who was a unit manager for ABC for shows like The Soupy Sales Show, The Jerry Mahony Show, and many others. He was also Unit Manager for the Academy Awards for a number of years, and during his long and varied career, he met many celebrities and obtained autographs from them in person (often personalized to him). Our consignor (and we) feel certain that the autograph on this still is authentic! Also note that this still measures 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm]. Condition: very good to fine.
