An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded German Movie Poster (measures 33 1/2" x 46 1/2" [85 x 118 cm]) (Learn More) Romantische Brautfahrt (literally translates to "Romantic Bridal Trip"), the 1944 Leopold Hainisch German romantic comedy (about a beautiful countess and a young diplomat who, because of a booking mix up, rent the same large Viennese apartment for an overnight stay, and because of the size of the apartment neither one knows the other is staying there but they slowly catch on!) starring Marte Harell, Wolf Albach-Retty, Christl Mardayn, Paul Horbiger, and Richard Romanowsky. Jeschke Important Added Info: Note that movie paper from this film is incredibly rare. We have never auctioned even a single movie paper item from this movie until we were consigned this poster (which is a "country of origin" poster for this German movie!). It was printed in Germany during World War II. There are very few German movie posters from during World War II in existence (because of the massive paper shortages in Germany during World War II), and most of those few are in museums. It is likely that German posters from during the Nazi era are even more rare than those from before that era, because most of those that survived the war would have been destroyed right after the war! Condition: fair. The poster has tears and paper loss in the left of the bottom border that enters the credits, and the tears continue up the center of the poster (see our image).
