An Original Vintage Theatrical Window Card Movie Poster (WC; measures 14" x 22" [36 x 56 cm]) (Learn More) Welcome Home, the 1935 James Tinling traveling salesman romantic stock swindling school reunion screwball comedy (a really wacky story of a small town that hatches a plan to get a rich famous alumni to come back for a school reunion so they can convince him to invest in their town, and the movie follows the stories of other alumni coming back, including a stock swindler and a gambler, and there is a romance at the center of the story, and after many ridiculous coincidences, the rich man is convinced to build a factory in the town, and everything works out wonderfully!) starring James Dunn, Arline Judge, Raymond Walburn, Rosina Lawrence, William Frawley, and Charles Sellon. Note that this movie sounds remarkably similar to Preston Sturges movies of just a few years later, so we wonder if there is any connection (and it certainly seems that Sturges must have seen this movie).
