Of the Strange Secret that lay hidden in a forgotten land unknown to man."; "All the adventure and romance of W.H. Hudson's unforgettable story."; "Based On the Novel by William Henry Hudson"; about a young man who encounters a mysterious girl who lives in the Amazon Jungle, and he falls madly in love with her) starring Audrey Hepburn, Anthony Perkins, Sessue Hayakawa, Lee J. Cobb, and Henry Silva. Note that this was originally going to be filmed in 1932 with Joel McCrea and Dolores Del Rio, but the project never got made. In the 1950s, Vincente Minnelli originally started making this movie with Pier Angeli and Edmund Purdom starring, but MGM chiefs hated the early footage, and cancelled the production. Mel Ferrer revived it for his wife Audrey Hepburn, and she turned down the lead role in "The Diary of Anne Frank" to make this. Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster was tri-folded only and had minor wear on the folds. It had tiny pairs of staple holes around the edges, with small paper loss in the center of the top border, and a few tears in the rest of the borders. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. Someone mounted the poster onto a very thin linen, with no excess and no restoration.
