An Original Vintage 7" x 9" [18 x 23 cm] Television Still (Learn More) The Duck Factory, the 1984 Rod Daniel television (TV) office comedy series starring Jim Carrey (as Skip Tarkenton), Julie Payne, Nancy Lane, Jay Tarses, Clarence Gilyard Jr., and Don Messick. Note that Jim Carrey had had a few very minor roles before being given the lead in this TV series, and the network expected big things from him, but alas, the show's comedy did not connect with viewers, and it was quickly canceled. The following year, he had the lead in the wacky vampire comedy "Once Bitten", and that bombed too, and it seemed like his career was mostly over. But he turned up on TV's "In Living Color" in 1990, and was again noticed, and this time he soon became a major star! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this still is from the first showing of the 5/10/84 episode of "The Duck Factory". We know that for certain because it has the date printed on the back, with other information from the studio. Also note that this TV still measures 7" x 9" [18 x 23 cm]. Note that this still was printed on Kodak paper, but this is because TV stills were quite commonly printed on Kodak paper (no doubt they needed far fewer stills for TV shows than they did for movies, so it just made financial sense to have Kodak copies made rather than printing large numbers of them). We are certain it is an original TV still, and not a later copy. Condition: very good to fine. The still is in very nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
