Kaufman; about the wife of a businessman who hosts a dinner with his main clients, hoping to help his career, and over the course of the evening, she says and does many "wrong" things, but everything works out in the end!) starring Marion Davies, Elliott Nugent, Raymond Hackett, Franklin Pangborn, Julia Faye, William Holden (no, not THAT William Holden, but another actor of the same name who made 20 movies between 1920 and 1931, and he died the next year, which was 7 years before the more famous William Holden made his first movie!), and Donald Ogden Stewart. Note that this play had been previously adapted into a movie in 1923 starring Constance Talmadge, and was later remade again with Ann Sothern in 1940, and both those versions were under the original play title of "Dulcy".
