Ah Wilderness!, the 1935 Clarence Brown small town family relationship romantic comedy ("Eugene O'Neill's Great American Drama"; "Great.... rave the critics!"; based on the play by Eugene O'Neill; set in a small town at the turn of the century; it captures American family life at that time quite well!) starring Wallace Beery, Lionel Barrymore, Aline MacMahon, Cecilia Parker, Eric Linden, Spring Byington, Mickey Rooney (seventh billed, and not billed on the posters!), Frank Albertson, and Bonita Granville. Note that this movie was remade in 1948 as "Summer Holiday", and Mickey Rooney, who had played the young son in this first version, played the lead in that remake!

Important Added Info: Note that this poster is a special 40" by 60" poster that was created by the "Meloy Bros. Inc" company of Shelbyville, Indiana in 1935 and 1936! This company created special 40" x 60" posters that were distributed to theaters in the Midwest, and are NOT like 40" x 60" posters that were created by the studios at that time. VERY IMPORTANT! We will pack this poster between four super heavy 42" x 62" boards that we have purchased for $5 each, meaning that the cost of packaging this poster is $20 (because of the expense of the large cardboard). VERY IMPORTANT! This poster will likely cost around $100 total to send within the U.S. via ground UPS (but of course, we will only charge the actual cost of shipping) plus the above stated $20 for the packaging materials (we are also auctioning similar size posters that could be packed together with this one, and if so, the shipping per poster will come down drastically). Please bear this shipping cost in mind before placing a bid on this poster (and it would surely cost hundreds of dollars to send it out of the United States, so we ask that no one bid on this poster unless they can accept delivery of it within the U.S.).

Note that this item needs to be shipped in an oversized flat package. Most of these items absolutely can only be sent in flat packages, and could not possibly be rolled into a tube. Some of them might SEEM like they could be rolled in a tube, like a half-sheet, but they can't. The reason these items are in this auction is specifically because they CAN'T be rolled (because rolling any of them would damage them, even if they somehow can be rolled). So please bear in mind that this item must be sent in a LARGE flat package (the size of the package will depend on the size of the item when ready for shipping), and bear this added expense in mind before placing a bid on it. IN THE CASE OF EXTREMELY LARGE FLAT ITEMS, THE SHIPPING COST WILL BE VERY HIGH, SO PLEASE DO NOT BID WITHOUT THINKING ABOUT THAT ADDED SHIPPING AMOUNT, AND INCLUDE THAT AMOUNT IN WHAT YOU BID (so if you would pay $150, but the shipping is likely $100, then only bid $50).
