He was first noticed as Vinnie Barbarino in TV's "Welcome Back Kotter", and he went on to a hugely successful movie career. Some of his movies include: Grease, Saturday Night Fever (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Pulp Fiction (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Face/Off, Carrie, and many more! He was married to actress Kelly Preston (who passed away in 2020) and he is a Scientologist (one of their two most famous members, along with Tom Cruise). If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that the Grease one-sheet has been personally autographed (signed) by BOTH John Travolta AND Olivia Newton-John, and that the Saturday Night Fever poster was signed by John Travolta. Our consignor obtained Mr. Travolta's signature in person, and he has a photograph of Mr. Travolta at that signing, and it will be sent with the two one-sheets to the high bidder of this lot. Condition: very good. The Saturday Night Fever poster has fine surface paper loss on parts of some foldlines (typical of high-gloss posters of this period) and is in "very good" condition.
