NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster, which is a "country of origin" poster for this partially English movie, is a very rare poster! This is the "non Cinerama" Super Panavision style (which was used by theaters that did not have Cinerama). It is the "space wheel" style (there is also an "astronauts on moon" style). We have only auctioned another example of this poster once before. In 2016, we auctioned the Cinerama version of this poster, and it auctioned for $4,257. But of course, this is NOT that poster! However, it is quite rare, and we are not exactly sure why, because the 1968 U.S. posters mostly turn up at auction over and over. Perhaps they printed far less for the English release. Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good to very good. The poster has some darkening and tiny surface paper loss on parts of the folds. It has darkening on the back of the bottom right of the poster, but it does not affect the front. There is a 2" tear in the left border that has a piece of tape on the back, and someone put some slight touch up on the front of it. The poster has some light creases scattered throughout. Other than the tape repair and the tiny touch up to it, the poster has had no restoration. Learn More about condition grades
