8 Original Vintage Newspaper Pages (measures 11" x 15" [28 x 38 cm]) (Learn More)

The Daily News (also known as New York Daily News) is an American newspaper which was founded in 1919 by Joseph Medill Patterson as the Illustrated Daily News. It was the first U.S. daily printed in tabloid format. It reached its peak circulation in 1947 at 2.4 million copies a day. As of 2019 it was the eleventh-highest circulated newspaper in the United States.
Important Added Info: Note that someone bought this newspaper when Marilyn died, and they discarded everything except for the covers and the first and last interior pages, because the articles about her were on pages 3 and 4. So what is present is pages 1 through 4, and pages 45 through 48 (those last 4 pages do not have any Marilyn material, but they were attached to pages 1 through 4). Also note that we have provided a picture of the front cover of the newspaper and pictures of interior two-page spreads.

Condition: good. Only 8 pages of the newspaper are present . There are many creases scattered throughout. There are tiny tears around the edges and the pages have slightly darkened (typical of old newspaper pages).
